The School of Nicolaus Rey has existed in Warsaw since 1906. For over one hundred years,
despite historical and constitutional changes in Poland,
it has kept the traditions and reminded faithful to values which are passed to the next pupil generations.
Our Secondary School motto, placed on the facade of the building is a Latin maxim Macte Animo!
The symbol of Rey`s School is the blue flag from the bust of Nicolaus Rey with a Polish inscription "stałość z prawdą społu z sobą rostą", described
in the blue rim. The inscription "XI Secondary School" with the date of it establishment was embroided on the reverse.
The emblem and monogram of Nicolaus Rey Secondary School are three interwined S, M, R letters with the blue background .

Julian Machlejd, the many years headmaster of Reys Secondary School translated Macte animo
maxim as "Greet the juvenile soul", which had to be interpreted not only as a bosom greeting,
but also as an encouragement to cooperate. Since 2008 the headmaster of school has been Arkadiusz Krużynski.
